Kingsland House, located right next to our Catering facilities at Kingsland Hall, is the perfect venue for meetings, training, and conferences; from a private lunch meeting for two to a conference to 200, we can accommodate your event here at Shrewsbury School using our newly refurbished and versatile meeting rooms
Shrewsbury School is set in magnificent grounds in the heart of the town, with a wide range of venues, leisure facilities and a fantastic hospitality and catering team; making it the ideal place to host courses, conferences and events. Whilst we run a busy School programme during term time, we do still have availability at certain times and would be delighted to tell you more about how our venues could host your event. Our Catering at Shrewsbury School is provided by the award-winning Holroyd Howe Independent, a fantastic company specialising in the education sector. We have a wonderful onsite catering team and lots of different menu options to choose from. From coffee and cake to VIP dinners – we pride ourselves in what we can offer and would love to tell you more. All of our food is cooked from scratch, using fresh ingredients and local suppliers wherever possible. We happily cater for guests with special dietary needs and food allergies.

Sat Nav - Please enter in our postcode SY3 7BA, but please also enter in the 'via' postcode of SY3 7AA to ensure that your route avoids the town centre. At the roundabout at the junction of the A5 and A5112, to the south-west of Shrewsbury, take the A5112 signposted to Shrewsbury. Continue past the retail park (Sainsbury's, McDonald's, etc. to your right) to the large Meole Brace roundabout (with traffic lights). Approach this in the left hand lane. Take the second exit (B4380, signposted Porthill and Copthorne), keeping in the left lane and forking left immediately after the roundabout. You go up an incline which is in fact a bridge over the railway. At the next roundabout continue on the B4380 (second exit). The road heads down the hill and sweeps round to the right; just as the road rises up again, take the right hand turn into Kennedy Road. The School is now on your left. Visitors to the Bursar/Kingsland House and anyone making a delivery to the School should take the first entrance on the left; others should continue up the hill and turn left at the tennis courts onto Ashton Road. At the end of the road turn right (still on Ashton Road), and after 400 yards you will find the large blue school gates on your left.Travel Information
